How it works:
- On each hole, record the number of paces for your first putt and the total number of putts to hole out. If you don’t finish the hole, just record 0 and 0 - that hole won’t affect your stats. If you are off the green - only count it as your first putt if it is 1 pace or less and you choose to putt it.
- Enter your data into the PEPI app. You can log it live, but most golfers prefer to jot it down on their scorecard (or our data sheets) and enter it later in the clubhouse with a beer.
- After your round, PEPI calculates your Round PEPI - the equivalent handicap index you putted to that day.
- Over time, your Overall PEPI is built (similar to WHS, using your best 8 of 20 rounds. While there are a small number of rounds in your record, your PEPI will fluctuate more sharply before it settles down), letting you see trends in your putting and compare to others.
- You can enter 9 hole or 18 hole rounds... but no gimmes longer than a regular sized putter grip (about a foot)!
